Pastor Carie graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2000.  She has served numerous churches in a variety of ways: associate pastor for youth ministry, Interim pastor, designated pastor and has just recently served as the installed pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna and stated supply at Mine Hill.  She has served as the moderator of Newton Presbytery and is currently the co-moderator of the Church Development Team of the Highlands Presbytery.  Pastor Carie enjoys being involved with the hands-on ministries of the church, such as volunteering at the soup kitchen or helping out with food drives.  She has two daughters and loves being involved with their numerous activities.  She also enjoys all things related to God’s creation, such as animals, Scuba diving, and caring for our environment.
