Dog Saved. Are You Next?
We are grateful to God when God rescues us from real or perceived danger and plight. But then it seems almost as quickly we turn away and head back to OUR lives, OUR wants, OUR needs, OUR agendas.
God with us is…still with us
I think that’s why God’s love and light comes to us in the darkest month of the year. I think that’s why the Wonderful Counselor comes to us in the form of a helpless infant. I think that’s why the Prince of Peace arrives in the midst of a Roman celebration and a Government census. I think that’s why the Lamb of God is born in a barn.
Beacon of Light
The face of suffering on a loved one, a neighbor or even a local business makes us feel the suffering more deeply and we want to do whatever we can to help. And many of you did great things to help others get back on their feet last year. But they’re not the only ones who need our help.
